Donate to Local Charities with One Box Challenge
One Box Challenge is a charitable organization that supports Iowa City area nonprofits. Each month, we ask members of the community to add one box or one item to their shopping list and those items are donated to local charities. We choose a new charity to support each month.
This month's challenge
August Challenge:
Tis the season for it....DEODORANT, all kinds for all people. We hope to collect more than last year when we made the day of some very grateful junior high teachers by donating over 200 deodorants to the Family Resource Counselors at all of the local junior highs. This year since we are focusing exclusively on deodorant, and not including other personal hygiene items, we hope to spread the joy of fresh smelling pits to more of our community partners including Shelter House, Domestic Violence Intervention Program, ICCSD, Antelope Lending Library, and Open Heartland.

Donation Pick Up or Delivery:
You can email One Box Challenge at oneboxchallenge@gmail.com to arrange porch pickup of your donation on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Or you can ship your donation directly to One Box Challenge from your favorite retailer or dropoff your donation. Please email us at oneboxchallenge@gmail.com for details.
